Gruppo Ingegneria Torino adheres to and supports the adoption of BIM in its design and consulting activities.
Documentary analysis and a traditional survey conducted at the client’s premises provided a complete understanding of the building which resulted in the creation of the BIM model. This phase is preparatory to subsequent seismic vulnerability assessments.
In detail, the building has a covered surface area of approximately 25,000 sqm and is made up of 21 separate structural bodies; a Plan of Investigations will be drawn up for each of them and GIT will carry out the investigations with the support of an approved laboratory.
At the end of the investigations it will be possible to proceed with the analytical determination of the Seismic Safety Index….
